Matariki day
We are having our wedding on Matariki Day.
This is a public holiday here in New Zealand and celebrates the beginning of a new year. It’s the winter solstice, with the 21st being the shortest day.
In our little country Church of All Souls, we have a stained glass window above the altar with the 9 Matariki stars woven discretely into the design. See if you can see them in the image below.

Pizza and Icecream
After the service we are going to have a small reception with Pizza and Icecream
We have some friends in the local neighbourhood who have a portal pizza trailer and an Icecream/coffee trailer.
So here’s the invite.
Even if you can’t get to our little celebration, get yourself some pizza and some ice cream.
