I want to know you Christ
I want to know you Christ
And to make you known
I want to fall in your footprints
Reap the harvest you have sown
I want to notice
When you slip into the room
Presence of fragrance
No longer in a tomb
I want to know
The punctures in your skin
May I have the nail prints
Suffering deep within
I want to feel the water
As we dance upon the waves
Focusing on your eyes
Never my love to stray
I want to hear your heartbeat
As I lay my head upon your chest
Arms wrapped around me
Place of deepest rest
I cannot be selfish
I want to share it all
There’s abundant providence
Wells of water from which to draw
Help me to notice
Where you have gone before
Quietening the waves
Opening up a door
